There are going to be a number of changes done throughout the weekend, these changes might be good for some and not so good for others.

1. The News/Content Feed campaign has ended, therefore those who selected to display Content Channels on their site will need to revert to our Default Gokita Ads Channel to continue displaying paid ads on their site.
2. We have increased the price of CostPerClick throughout the network. This is to allow our Publishers to earn slightly more, as our network is made up of highly selected websites - which is very reasonable.
   Our previous CPC rate was USD0.01 - MYR0.03, our newly revised CPC rate is now pegged at a minimum of USD0.04 - MYR0.11.
3. Our Publishers can now stand to earn approximately MYR0.05 per click as our default revenue share is at 50%.

We’re proud to introduce Gokita’s Alternate Ads!

If you’re familiar with Google Adsense, you might have heard of this feature before. But not to worry, for those who haven’t heard about this feature, we’re happy to explain it to you in-depth.

In short, the Gokita Alternate Ads feature allows all our Publishers to display Ads from other Ad networks when Gokita can’t provide you with a paid Ad on your site.

To accomplish this, all you have to do is follow these simple instructions below. For this example we will use the 468×60 Gokita Ad banner, but you can do this with any other Ad sizes provided by us which is also available from your Alternative Ad network. The Ad sizes must be the same. Anyways:

Step 1. Create a page that contains the 468×60 banner from your Alternative Ad network (i.e. Adsense, Advertlets or Nuffnang) - name it 468×60test.html. View the test page you just created in your browser to make sure you see the advertisement appear from the other network and take note of the URL.

Your 468×60 ad code from your ad server should look something like this:

5. Copy and Paste the code on your site, and voila!

A serious issue has been found with anyone using the Wordpress plugin for Gokita/Nufflets. Our team has discovered that a flaw exists in the Wordpress plugin code which causes our Publishers statistics to not be measured and clicks gone unpaid to the publishers.

The issue is due to the Wordpress plugin code which comments out our Publishers Customer ID. What happens when the Customer ID is commented out is that our server does not recognize where the traffic is coming from and does not post earnings into the Publisher accounts.

I’m very sure this was an error which Edwin (creator of the plugin) totally did not want to create. I’m sure it was totally unintentional.

People make mistakes. And we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. Some of our users might have removed the plugin and the Gokita code as they thought they weren’t making any earnings, this is wrong. We have a large number of active campaigns and this will continue to grow at a steady rate.

Please update your Gokita code as soon as possible, while Edwin makes the necessary minor fix on his plugin for the convenience of all Gokita users.

To participate and display real-time news and content, all you have to do is sign-up as a Publisher on Gokita.

The Gokita Content Network allows our Publishers and Partners to display the following just by adding the Gokita code on their sites:
