Are Nufflets Ads allowed with Google Adsense? Will Google ban me?

While I was surfing around the blogosphere, I came across a number of people who expressed their skepticism in using Nufflets Ads on pages or sites which already had the Google Adsense code. Now, before Nufflets became Nufflets.com, we already knew this would be an issue, and we knew that Google didn’t mind Nufflets Ads together with Google Ads.

But in the spirit of clearing all doubt, I contacted the Google Adsense team, and this is what they had to say:

Hi Nabil,

Thank you for your email. AdSense publishers may display ads from other
contextual ad networks on the same page as Google ads only if the
formatting or color scheme of these ads is sufficiently different from the
layout of the Google ads. In other words, if you choose to place
non-Google ads on the same site or page as Google ads, it should always be
clear to the user that the ads are served by different advertising
networks and that the non-Google ads have no association with Google. If
the formats are naturally similar, we’d ask that you use different color
schemes for the competing ads.

For additional questions, I’d encourage you to visit the AdSense Help
Center ( http://www.google.com/adsense_help ) or the official AdSense blog

Hi Google Adsense Team,

I’m Nabil Feisal, co-founder of Nufflets.com, a recently launched
Advertising Network for Asians.

I’m contacting you on behalf of my many publishers who would like some
clarification.

The ads provided by my network are text-based, but do look very
different from Adsense ads. We even label our Ads differently, instead
of an “Ads by” statement, we only have “Nufflets Ads”.

Our ad code allows our Publishers to enable and disable contextual or
keyword based targeting.

So can Nufflets Ads be displayed alongside Google Adsense Ads?

So the answer to “Are Nufflets Ads allowed with Google Adsense?” is a Yes.

And the answer to “Will Google ban me when I start using Nufflets Ads?” is a No.

    Still remember me? When I was with Advertlets, I’m with My Journey To Recovery.

    Heard about Nufflets from a local forum I frequented. Congratulations Nabil. I know you gonna hit the BIG time soon and all the best to you.

    Anyway, thank you for clearing up the doubt. Like everybody else, I’m a bit skeptical about Nufflets and AdSense going side by side.
